Child Log

The child log is a feature that allows the kindergarten to register whether children are delivered, picked up, sick, on holiday, free, or have other absences. Additionally, you can register sleep times, meals, toilet visits, and diaper changes. To set or change sleep times, click on “Details” in the top right corner when you are viewing the child. Guardians can easily report absences directly from the parent app Kidplan. The kindergarten will see an overview of the parent registrations reported to the kindergarten.

To register the status of a child, click on the relevant child, and you will be taken to the child log registration screen. In the registration screen, you will see all the different event types you can choose from. Some events will change names depending on the child’s status. For example, if you register a child as delivered, this button will change its name to picked up.

If you click on the stamp symbol, you will register delivered/picked up/sick/free/invalid absence and holiday at the current time. You can see the stamp symbol as a type of quick registration for the statuses delivered, picked up, sick, free, invalid absence, and holiday. If you make an incorrect registration, you can click on the blue box “administration” to make changes or delete.

It is possible to register “hand hygiene” in Kidplan. When the registration is done, a symbol will appear on the child indicating that the child has washed their hands. The kindergarten decides how long the symbol will be visible in the child log. This setting is made via the “settings” tile in the “system” area.
