Events are a feature that allows the kindergarten to plan events that require registration. These can be summer parties, parent meetings, or other types of events where the kindergarten wants to keep track of the number of participants.
When you as an employee are going to create an event that requires registration, do this by tapping Calendar on the front page. After pressing the calendar, you will enter the calendar view itself, here you can click on the plus sign or on the relevant date on which you want to create an event.
Once you have selected the relevant date you must select the calendar type “Event” to create the Event.
Next, you need to give the event a title and select which department(s) or groups it will apply to. Set the date and time for when the event will start and end. It is also possible to select “all day” if it is a full-day event. If you want to set a registration deadline, check this option and enter the registration deadline date. Parents who wish to participate in an event after the registration deadline will be informed to contact the kindergarten. Add any additional information in the text field and click save. Parents will receive a push notification that an event has been created at the kindergarten. Parents can only register via the parent app.
To get an overview of the registered participants, edit, or cancel the event, click on the event in the calendar. When you cancel or edit the event, you can send a push notification about the change.
Under “View registrations,” you will get an overview of the registered participants and can edit/delete responses or register parents. You can also send reminders to those who have not responded.
