The first thing you need to do before starting the count is to select the counting interval. This is done by clicking on the “Settings” tile under the “Settings” area, then on the “Settings” tab. Here, you choose an interval that applies to the entire kindergarten.
There are two ways to conduct the counting of children in the kindergarten. One way is through the “Child Log” tile, and the other is through the “Count List” tile.
To start counting in the “Child Log,” you need to click on the counting icon, then register the count by clicking on the child.
End the counting by clicking on the counting icon. It is possible to filter by groups and departments.
To start counting in the “Count List” tile, click on the button to the right of the child labeled “Count me” to register a count for the child.
After you press “count me”, it will be non-printable for two seconds afterwards. This is to avoid double registration. It is also possible to filter by groups and departments.
If a child is recorded as “sick”, “gone”, “vacationed” or “picked up” in the child registry, the child will be gray in the counting list, indicating that the child does not need to count
If a child is picked up (temporarily gone), the child can be taken off the count list. Tap the appropriate child you want to take out of the count and select “pause from counting”.
You can click on the child to see when the child was paused from counting, and who counted the child.
There are two ways to add the child back to the counting list. Click on the child and select “Take into list” or “Count me” on the right. It is also possible to filter out all absent children by clicking on “Hide absent” in the top right corner.
