How to register in the children's log

Children's log is a functionality that allows the kindergarten to record whether children are delivered, picked up, sick, have a vacation, time off or other absence. In addition, you can record sleeping times, meals, toilet visits and diaper changes. Parents can easily report absences directly from the kidplan parenting app. The kindergarten will see an overview of the parent registrations that are enrolled in Kidplan.

Record status

To register the status of a child, click on the relevant child, and you will be taken to the child’s registration screen. In the registration screen, you will see all the different event types you can choose from. Some events will change names depending on the child’s status. For example, if you register a child as delivered, this button will change its name to picked up.

If you click on the stamp symbol, you will register delivered/picked up/sick/free/invalid absence and holiday at the current time. You can see the stamp symbol as a type of quick registration for the statuses delivered, picked up, sick, free, invalid absence, and holiday.

If you make an incorrect registration, you can click on the blue box “administration” to make changes or delete.

Comment in the children's log

When you type a comment on the child in the child's history, you can choose whether it will last over time. It is important that you do not write sensitive information in this comment box.
