You can transfer payroll data from Mentor Personal to your accounting firm. If your business uses PBL or Knif, the payroll file is transferred automatically. If your business does not use automatic transfer, you must download the payroll file and send it to your accounting firm yourself.
If your business uses PBL or Knif, you must contact your payroll representative before you start using the payroll function. The payroll representative will help you clarify the setup and make the necessary adjustments under Settings in the Payroll.
You must, among other things, register the company ID and employee number provided by your accounting firm.
Important: The settings must be in place before you perform the first payroll transfer.
β
Before exporting payroll data, you must check and approve the reports for the employees. Any unprocessed entries must be approved or rejected before you can approve the reports.

β
This depends on how your organization transfers payroll data.
Automatic transfer β PBL and Knif: When you select Export to payroll, the payroll file is automatically transferred to the accounting firm. You do not need to download or send the file yourself.
Manual transfer: When you select Export to payroll, the payroll file is downloaded. The file contains unfiltered data and is not customized for a specific payroll system. You must therefore check and, if necessary, adjust the file before sending it to your accounting firm.
β
You can only export the same payroll data once.
If new entries are made for a period you have already exported, you can approve and export these subsequently.
Important: If you discover errors in payroll data that has already been exported, you must contact your payroll administrator or accounting firm to have the information corrected.
β
You can find an overview of previous payroll exports under Payroll β Export History.
Under Details you can also see the export date, who performed the export, which period it covers, and an overview of absence and overtime for the employees.
