Employment

Anyone who will have access to the system must have an active employment relationship. The employment relationship is visible to the employee. There are some connections to what is recorded here that are important to bear in mind.

  • Form of employment: Substitute on call are selected for the employees whom you call, for example, on the same day. Do not have an agreement on permanent guards. Substitute on call will not be part of the sick leave statistics.
  • Personnel Manager: Here you can choose from employees who have been assigned the role of Personnel Manager. Is it missing a human resources manager? Then you need to update system access on the employee who will be the Human Resources Manager. The personnel manager will approve the absence and plus time and see the calendar of the employee.
  • Department: Select the department to which employees are associated. If an employee works in several departments, you choose either no department or the department in which the employee works most. The department that you select here is only related to the sick leave statistics.
  • Date: When an employee leaves the business, an end date is set on the employment relationship. Once this date has passed, the employee will lose access to the system. If the employee changes employment, you create a new employment relationship. If the employee quits, the termination process can begin. • Other: This is a free text field that the business can utilize as they please.

Edit employment

In an already created employment relationship, you can only change the choice of personnel manager, department affiliation and end date.

If other information needs to be corrected, for example due to incorrect registration, the employment relationship must be deleted and re-registered. NB! No history is lost when a working relationship is deleted and re-entered.

If an employee receives a change of position, such as job title, form of employment, and percentage of employment in the company, put an end date on the existing employment relationship and enter a new one with updated information.
